On May 6th, the winners of Baden's best wines and winegrowers of the year are chosen with a big award show in Lahr.
The young winemaker Maximilian Greiner from the Greiner winery in Schliengen won the title of Baden's Newcomer of the Year.
At the evening event Baden's best wines, the best wines from Baden were also chosen. In advance, more than 100 winegrowers, wineries and winegrowers' cooperatives submitted their wines in five categories.
In the BBQ wines, the jury chose the 2021 Rosé Saignée dry from the Greiner winery in Schliengen with 93 points.
